The new C 300 4Matic debuts in Europe with record range and 320 kW charging for the German sedan
Performance with two motors and 4Matic all-wheel drive. The electric C-Class range is expanding with the introduction of the new C 300 4Matic performance variant. Designed to offer an optimal balance between dynamics and energy efficiency, the new model is equipped with a twin-motor configuration, with an electric unit located on each axle to ensure permanent all-wheel drive.
The drive system of the Mercedes-Benz C 300 4Matic version develops a total output of 421 horsepower and a generous torque of 800 Nm. Thanks to the instantaneous delivery of resources, the mid-class sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 210 km/h.
690 km range and 320 kW charging on 800V architecture
Under the floor of the electric sedan is a new-generation battery with a usable capacity of 85 kWh. This ensures a maximum range of up to 690 kilometers in the WLTP combined cycle, making the model an ideal vehicle for both daily commuting and long-distance travel.
One of the new model’s key technological strengths is its 800-volt electrical architecture. This enables ultra-fast direct current (DC) charging at high-power stations, accepting up to 320 kW. Under ideal conditions, a short charging session of just 10 minutes adds an additional range of around 290 kilometres.
Availability and estimated price on the Romanian market
The new Mercedes-Benz C 300 4Matic has already made its commercial debut on the German market, where the starting price is set at 62.951 euros (taxes included).
For the Romanian market, orders are expected to open in the coming period in the official network of authorized dealers. Considering the differences in standard equipment levels specific to the local market and the applicable taxes, the estimated starting price for the C 300 4Matic in Romania will be approximately 64.000 - 66.000 euros including VAT.
The first deliveries to customers in Romania are estimated to begin in the first half of next year, with the model set to benefit from extended battery warranty packages and advanced customization options through the AMG Line.
