Aston Martin unveils exclusive new Valen supercar with 838 hp and top speed of 345 km/h

The exclusive Q by Aston Martin division completes its trilogy of bespoke supercars with the new Valen. Built on a full carbon fibre body, this limited edition redefines the boundaries of front-engine, rear-wheel drive architecture.

Extreme performance and motorsport-derived transmission

Unlike its manual predecessors (Valour and Valiant), the Valen opts for an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission in transaxle configuration. The shift programs were developed directly from the brand's experience with the Vantage GT4 competition model.

  • Engine: 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12
  • Maximum power: 838 hp (+104 hp over Valiant, +14 hp over Vanquish)
  • Acceleration (0-100 km/h): 3.1 seconds
  • Top speed: 345 km/h
  • Kerb weight: Up to 110kg lighter than the V12 Vanquish platform

Sculpted design for aerodynamics and ground pressure

The supercar adopts an aggressive aesthetic language coordinated by Marek Reichman (EVP & Chief Creative Officer). The front end is dominated by slim headlights set deep under the plunging hood, a geometric grille and an angular splitter.

The side sills incorporate sawtooth-shaped vortex generators to reduce lift, and the rear window has been completely eliminated. In its place is a carbon tailgate with an integrated Gurney flap, which provides access to a 170-liter trunk. The aggressive rear diffuser reveals the 325 mm wide tires.

The launch color, Satin Andromeda Red, uses Chromaflair technology to range from deep red, copper and gold, to intense blue and black tones. Optionally, the body can be left in exposed carbon fiber with a herringbone weave.

Titanium acoustic system and structural optimization

Engineers achieved further weight reduction by:

  • Lightweight Suspension Package (optional): Saves 16.9 kg through machined aluminum arms and titanium bolts.
  • Drivetrain: 21-inch magnesium wheels and carbon ceramic brakes.
  • Titanium exhaust: Designed specifically for the Valen, it is 50% louder than the one on the Vanquish and is positioned directly under the seats for a visceral sound in the cabin.

Driver-oriented cockpit

The streamlined interior uses a narrow 3D-printed center console that takes over the controls from the Valhalla hypercar and tilts the touchscreen toward the driver. Customers can choose between new Sport Plus seats or carbon fiber seats, customizable through the Q program in an extensive range of Semi-Aniline leather and Alcantara configurations.

Availability and price: Guaranteed exclusivity

The exclusivity of the new Aston Martin Valen is confirmed by a strictly limited production run of just 150 examples worldwide. First deliveries to customers are scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.

Although the British manufacturer has not yet announced an official price, the estimated starting price is around $2 million. This amount is only the base price, as the extensive options in the Q by Aston Martin personalization package will significantly increase the final cost of each individual copy.
