4 million euro art on wheels: Lamborghini unveils the new Fenomeno Roadster 2027 produced in just 15 copies

Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster: A 1,080 HP Hybrid Symphony Limited to Just 15 Copies

The world of hypercar enthusiasts has just received news that makes the pulse instantly rise: Lamborghini has unveiled the new Fenomeno Roadster 2027. It is not just another spectacular convertible, but the most powerful open-top car in the history of the Sant'Agata Bolognese brand.

Direct successor to the "Few-Off" tradition (ultra-limited series), started in 2009 with the famous Reventón Roadster, the new Fenomeno Roadster will be produced in just 15 copies, instantly becoming a collector's item coveted by millionaires around the world.

Engine and Performance: Beyond the Conventional

The heart of this "monster" is a HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) system that combines visceral tradition with future technology. Under the rear hood is the most powerful naturally aspirated V12 ever created by Lamborghini, assisted by three electric motors.

  • Engine: 6.5-liter V12, 835 hp at 9,250 rpm.
  • Hybrid system: 3 electric motors (two on the front axle, one on the gearbox).
  • Total combined power: 1,080 hp.
  • Transmission: 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
  • Acceleration 0-100 km/h: 2.4 seconds.
  • Top speed: Over 340 km/h.

Thanks to the 7 kWh battery, the Fenomeno Roadster can also run in fully electric mode, offering a rare duality for a hypercar of such magnitude.

Design and Aerodynamics: Sculpted by the Wind

The design, signed by Lamborghini Centro Stile, is an aggressive evolution of the Coupé variant presented in 2025. The main challenge was to maintain aerodynamic performance without the fixed roof.

  • Airflow Management: An innovative windshield-mounted spoiler directs air over the cabin directly into the engine area, ensuring optimal cooling of the V12 without compromising stability.
  • Hexagonal Aesthetics: The brand's visual signature is omnipresent, from the air intakes and LED taillights to the high-mounted central exhaust.
  • Launch color: A spectacular Blu Cepheus, with Rosso Mars accents, a tribute to the colors of the city of Bologna (red and blue) and the iconic 1968 Miura Roadster.

Chassis and Technology: Aerospace DNA

The Fenomeno Roadster uses an aviation-inspired monofuselage chassis and is constructed from multi-technology carbon fiber.

  1. Maximum rigidity: The front structure is made of Forged Composite®, a patented material that offers extreme strength at minimal weight.
  2. Circuit suspension: Racing-style shock absorbers are manually adjustable, allowing the owner to set the car for road comfort or surgical precision on the circuit.
  3. Braking system: CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic discs, derived from motorsport, capable of stopping the beast at dizzying speeds without the "fading" phenomenon.

Interior: "Feel Like a Pilot"

Inside, the Lamborghini philosophy is clear: the driver should feel like a fighter pilot. The cabin is a mix of luxury and raw technology:

  • Materials: Exposed carbon fiber, Carbon Skin (a patented ultra-lightweight material) and Alcantara (Corsatex).
  • Interface: Three digital screens with hexagonal graphics that centralize all telemetric data.
  • Details: Haptic buttons and aviation-style switches, all geared towards ergonomics and total control.

Dedicated tires: The partnership with Bridgestone

To put the 1,080 hp on the tarmac, Lamborghini turned to Bridgestone. The result? Potenza Sport tires created specifically for this model, mounted on 21-inch rims at the front and 22-inch at the rear. For those who want to take the Fenomeno to the track, Bridgestone also offers a semi-slick tire option approved for public roads.

“The Fenomeno Roadster represents the pure expression of our values: visionary design, uncompromising performance and absolute exclusivity,” said Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Lamborghini.

With just 15 units scheduled for production, the Fenomeno Roadster is not just a car, but a monument to Italian engineering, marking the peak of the hybrid V12 era before full electrification took over.

Availability and Price: Art-grade exclusivity

If you're wondering how much it costs to enter this ultra-exclusive club, prepare for figures that defy the logic of the conventional automotive market. The 2027 Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster is not just a car, but a financial asset on wheels, and its price reflects this status as a collector's "Holy Grail."

  • Starting price: Although Automobili Lamborghini keeps an elegant discretion regarding official figures for the general public, sources among European dealers and information leaked at the Lamborghini Arena event indicate a list price of around 3.5 - 4 million euros.
  • Taxes and customization: This is just the starting point. Through the Ad Personam program, each of the 15 customers will likely spend an additional several hundred thousand euros on unique finishes, custom stitching, or experimental paint colors, bringing the final purchase price well over 4.5 million euros (including local taxes).
  • Sales status: If you're looking for an online configurator now, we have bad news: it's already too late. As with all "Few-Off" models, all 15 examples were reserved long before the official launch. Purchase invitations were personally sent by the team in Sant'Agata to the brand's most loyal customers—those collectors who already have pieces like the Veneno, Centenario or Sián in their garage.

European Availability and Deliveries.  While the Fenomeno Roadster will hit the streets globally, a good portion of production is destined for private collections in Europe (particularly in Germany, Switzerland, and Monaco). First deliveries are scheduled to begin in late 2026 and early 2027.

Essentially, the Fenomeno Roadster is not "bought," but "assigned." For the rest of us, this model will remain a digital poster or a rare appearance at Concours d'Elegance events, where its resale value will likely explode as soon as the first one leaves the factory gates.

This model marks the absolute pinnacle of V12 engineering before Lamborghini made the full transition to a mass-market hybrid and electric range, transforming the 15 units into true mechanical testaments to a glorious era.
