BMW launches the new 3 Series G50 with internal combustion engines in Romania, starting at 48.098 euros
The new BMW 3 Series (G50 generation) with combustion engines has been officially launched and can be ordered on the Romanian market. Although it adopts an aesthetic language closely related to its fully electric counterpart (i3), the new generation with conventional propulsion is built on an optimized evolution of the flexible CLAR architecture.
The launch marks the continuity of one of the most representative sedans in the mid-premium segment, offering Romanian customers 48V mild-hybrid options, xDrive all-wheel drive and a completely transformed digital architecture.
Exterior design: Athletic lines and revised dimensions
Visually, the new 3 Series retains the classic proportions of a sports sedan — a long bonnet, a short front overhang and a dynamic silhouette. The design language takes modern elements from the brand's new styling philosophy, integrating a reinterpreted front grille and slim LED headlamps.
The dimensions of the new model bring added presence on the road:
- Length: 4,765 mm
- Width: 1,850 mm
- Height: 1,455 mm
- Wheelbase: 2,860 mm
The model is produced at the Dingolfing plant in Germany, ensuring an optimized aerodynamic coefficient and a strong focus on dynamic performance.
Interior and technology: The digital revolution BMW Panoramic Vision
The interior of the new BMW 3 Series redefines the human-machine interface by eliminating most physical controls in favor of touch surfaces and advanced digital displays.
Main technologies on board:
- BMW Panoramic Vision: Innovative screen projected at the base of the windshield across its entire width, displaying essential information in an ideal field of vision for the driver.
- 17.9-inch Central Display: Main touchscreen based on the new BMW Operating System X interface, compatible with periodic software updates (over-the-air).
- 3D Head-Up Display (Optional): Three-dimensional projection directly behind the reconfigured multifunction steering wheel.
- "My Modes" driving modes: Four dedicated settings that simultaneously adjust vehicle response, ambient lighting and screen graphics.
- Assistance systems: The standard package includes the Assistance Plus package, with advanced lane keeping capabilities and adaptive cruise control.
The trunk volume totals 450 liters, maintaining a high level of daily practicality.
