How much will the new Renault 4 E-Tech Jogging cost with a 37 kWh battery, 110 HP and 305 km of range?
Ahead of the Paris Motor Show, Renault is announcing a major update package for its electric Renault 4 E-Tech model. The French manufacturer has optimized the car's aerodynamic efficiency and thermal management systems, managing to extend range across the entire range and is also preparing to introduce a new entry-level version by the end of this year.
Aerodynamic optimizations and increased autonomy across the range
The modifications made by Renault engineers to the body and under the body have reduced rolling resistance, improving the energy efficiency of all existing configurations:
- Urban Range version (40 kWh battery): WLTP combined range increases to 310 kilometers.
- Comfort Range version (52 kWh battery): Now offers a maximum range of up to 415 kilometers.
- Plein Sud variant: Benefits from a reevaluated range of 400 kilometers on a single charge.
New basic Jogging version: 110 HP, LFP battery and 305 km of range
The most important new feature in the range is the introduction of a new access version, called Jogging, designed to make electric mobility more accessible. It will be available in the commercial offer by the end of the year.
- Propulsion system: 110 HP electric motor, which allows a 0–100 km/h sprint in 10.2 seconds.
- LFP Battery: 37 kWh battery pack with LFP (lithium-iron-phosphate) chemistry, providing a range of up to 305 kilometers (WLTP).
- Fast charging (DC): Maximum power up to 80 kW, allowing recharging from 10% to 80% in just 25 minutes.
The standard equipment of the Jogging version is surprisingly generous and includes: manual air conditioning, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.1-inch central multimedia screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, 18-inch wheels, rear parking sensors, reversing camera and manual battery preconditioning function.
Roland-Garros Special Edition: Elegance inspired by the world of tennis
Following the example of its bigger brother Renault 5, the new Renault 4 E-Tech receives the exclusive Roland-Garros version. This is distinguished by refined aesthetic details:
- Exterior visual package: Two-tone color scheme available in Glacier White, Urban Grey, Starry Black and Terracotta Brown, complemented by official Roland-Garros emblems.
- Dedicated wheels: Set of 18-inch Parisienne wheels, finished in a combination of black and Terracotta Brown accents.
- Exclusive interior: Upholstery made from high-quality recycled materials and a special trim for the transmission selector (e-Pop shifter), designed to imitate the texture of a tennis racket handle.
The Roland-Garros edition is equipped as standard with the 52 kWh battery (415 km of autonomy) and can also be configured in the Plein Sud body variant.
New on-board technologies and advanced assistance
The electric model receives a series of improvements in ergonomics, comfort and safety:
- Smart driving mode: Taken from the new Clio, it automatically adapts power delivery and energy recovery according to driving style.
- Ventilated Wireless Charging: The wireless charging pad now includes active ventilation slots to prevent your smartphone from overheating.
- Hands-free access redefined: Opening the trunk is now done automatically by simply approaching the driver with the card in their pocket, replacing the foot movement sensor under the rear bumper.
- New ADAS systems: Optional equipment includes the 360-degree camera system, the Eco-Driving Predictive assistant and the Emergency Stop Assistant function.
